Hunt dates are Aug. 19 - 30, or Aug. 30 - Sept. 10, xxxx. A 2nd Brown Bear may be taken on a trophy fee of $3,500. In this Predator Management Area the State of Alaska is trying to reduce the over populations of Bears and Wolves to help increase the populations of Moose and Caribou. To accomplish their goals the have increased bag limits on Brown Bear, Black Bear, Wolf, and Wolverine. They have also made the hunting season longer. This gives hunters more opportunities to harvest predators in the area. These hunts have been 100% success since they opened the new seasons in xxxx. One of last years hunters harvested two great Brown Bears. Our Brown Bears are usually 8 1/2 - 9 1/2 foot with an occasional Bear pushing 10 foot. Hunts are personally guided by an Alaska Master Guide/Outfitter. We have been hunting this area since xxxx. Ask about adding Moose to the hunt from Aug. 30 - Sept. 10.
