Job Description
Watermark is seeking an engineer to support remediation and field efforts including on:site Quality Control and documentation functions, Submittal and Plan preparation, subcontractor buyout and oversight, and the ability to perform Site Safety and Health functions. This candidate should possess the following attributes and qualifications:
Requirements
:
Highly motivated individual with engineering problem solving capabilities, strong analytical skills and a team oriented attitude.
:
Must be capable of paying extreme attention to detail on project deliverables. Attention to quality control components during submittal preparation and on:site remediation activities.
:
Must be willing to engage in fieldwork and travel for several months at a time and work on soil, groundwater and other remediation projects.
:
Will be required to prepare reports, plans, permits, specifications, cost estimates, assist with proposals, and perform field work. Must be detail:oriented, quality:focused and a team player with the ability to meet any challenge. Able to travel throughout the Northeast and Mid:Atlantic States for projects.
Qualifications
:2:5 years experience in the above referenced disciplines;
:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineer or Chemical Engineering.
:On:Site Quality Control and Health and Safety Oversight preferred.
:OSHA 40:hr HAZWOPER training and current OSHA 8:hr HAZWOPER refresher(s) required.
:Strong technical and analytical writing skills;
:Proficient in MS Word(tm), MS Excel(tm), and MS Project(tm),
:Excellent organizational and multi:tasking skills;
:Ability to acquire professional certifications a plus.
:USACE QA/QC a plus.
